My two arrived yesterday..but picked up tday from the post office.. thanks SFRC!!

How do you guys who already own them..like them?

I know takedown is an issue..but Im interested in reliability..jams etc And I wont get to shoot mine for several months.

Any insight?

Thanks Brian, perhaps he'll post me an extra package. The rifle is for the little Misses, she wanted a .22 and (how romantic) our anniversary is just around the corner :)

I recieved mine yesterday, exactly one week after ordering, which I think is pretty good considering the number of guns they had to ship out. Great service from SFRC!

I'm hoping to get it to the range on Tuesday to test it out. Once I know it functions I'm going to strip the stock and refinish it. Not that there is anything wrong with it, I just need a project right now and I just love refinishing stocks.

Once I get it done I'll post some pics in the rimfire section if I can figure out how.
 
Got mine yesterday but the mag is cracked (sent an email to sfrc but they haven't replied yet) Anyone now where to get replacement mags for this?

I am not sure but I think spare parts for these rifles are going to be difficult to impossible to source unless you buy another rifle. Maybe you could try a Marlin 7 or 10 rounder? They are very nice magazines, and the JW 14 supposedly accepts them.
 
We'll sort it out for you. We're pretty much shut down here do to the weather and the net is going up and down.

Got mine 3weeks ago and cannot stop it from slam firing. Watched the disassembly videos and cleaned out all the cosmoline and every time I pull the bolt back and release it, it fires. If it's loaded it jams the next round halfway into the chamber, tried this with blazers, federal blue box and cci mini mags same result. I emailed sfrc and they asked if I tried different ammo, I said yes and they haven't a chance to reply. I understand this is a stupid busy time of year and I am not upset (not sfrc's fault) but I really want to be able to shoot this rifle! Anyone with same experience?

Chamber is clean and clear, firing pin acts like it's being released too easily. If I #### it and engage the safety then pull the trigger, it fires too. Maybe a job for a gunsmith?
 
From my limited knowledge of this gun, if you #### the gun and lock the bolt back, you should be able to reach in with something and push the firing pin back. As far as I can figure the firing pin has to be stuck forward, sort of like the SKS problem you hear about.

What does it do if you load one round and carefully close the bolt? Will it fire and eject it?
