I owned three; the first two had bent barrels and both shot about a foot left at 20 yards, not enough dovetail to drift the sights. Dealer took my word for it and gave me an over the counter exchange; it was no better. The dealer got me in touch with the distributor, who put me in direct contact with their gunsmith. I sent him the rifle, and he agreed with me; bent barrel. They sent me one with a test target that was amazing but rough and tight. The gunsmith told me he tried 7 rifles out of their stock before he found one that was not bent. It was a bad lot.
I have since upgraded to a very pretty Brno no. 2. It shoots no better, but is finished a whole lot nicer.
They are good rifles if you get a good one, and you will never wear out your JW.
