Putting a 22lr ammo order together and also thinking about another 22lr.
Is the latest batch of JW15A garbage , I can't find much info on the NR 15 , looks to be the same action as the JW but a different mag. I've read some good stuff about the scorpio. They are all near the same price. I have several 22's in Brno mod 2, cz 452 and cz 457. I think nine in just those 3 models and then a couple 10/22's. Cheapest brno mod 2's around are the trainers and I can't lay my hands on them and dealers will only send a pic or 2 if you can get them to send one. They don't want anyone cherry picking the best. When it's $400 involved , I'd like to see a used gun first. $200 'ish for a new 22 is a little different and I can always send it back if it's a problem child. Not always fun sending a gun back and waiting for answers.
I'm dealing with a brand new Cz457 with a bad firing pin that has the chrome chipping off and the gun has never been fired by me. It just had a really slow lock time when using snap caps setting the trigger pull. Further inspection showed why. . Warranty center says they have never heard of any issues which I call BS.
Just crappy weather right now to do any sort of testing . - 20 c is not when I want to be shooting a 22 or any gun.
Whats everyone's opinion on the 3 I mentioned.
