Norinco M4

I heard at the price the last ones were, you could actually get a US built rifle. So I took advantage of Dangertree's sale.

Wolverine Supplies now sells their Armalite M15A4 16" carbine (with A2 stock) at 1075$... and that includes a 2-stage trigger !

So if the Norinco M4 (it does exist, since link and picture) is sold at a higher price tag... it will be difficult to sell. Actually, with the current US export restrictions, the selling points are the retractable stock, and (mostly) the 14.5" barrel.

If the price is too high or oinly $100-$300 short of a "real" AR I would get a real one. Hopefully the price won't be rediculous. However it is Lever. They were selling their M-14's for what was it $599 or $699. Now if Marstar would get these it would probly be a good price. They'd probly practically be giving them away.

WE WILL HAVE THE M-4s, not at the current high prices.... remember what we did to the M-14 pricing....

Stay tuned
John

Not sure why all the excitement. The CQ311 didn't exactly fly off the shelves...at least I don't think it did.

I'll wait for a range report first. If I miss the boat, oh well. There'll be another boat next year :)

Ditto....

Unless the new M4-styled ones use american threading instead of the CQ311's metric everything. If so, it may be a nice intro to ARs for some as the gun can be tuned and fitted with other AR stuff later.

I wonder if there's money to be made importing just the 14.5 inch barrels with inch threading and retractable stocks, since those seem to be the hangups with US imports. It's not like they've stopped allowing US lowers through or anything.
