Norinco M4

Here is Norinco Quality for you!! lol

Now I just have to get this replaced.

Any word when Marstar will be selling these ?

At the rate they are selling, I'd seriously doubt that they'll make it there.

Went to P&D and they actually ran out of them during the weekend & had to scramble for resupply & got some more yesterday. They sold 30 of these in one week, pretty scary indeed.

As long it is not a crack I wouldn't make much of a fuss about it, if you guys are the cosmetic types, you could always file it down flush or Krylon it. It's a Norc, looks ugly but works fine...

Until the pressures of decadent western life stress the 'rinco past its limits and it explodes.

I have something simlar on mine at the point where the barrel tapers just ahead of the front sight tower..looks like crack around the circumference of the barrel ...but I think its a crack in the paint...you can find lots of flaws if you look hard...Norincos arent pretty!!

It looks like a casting imperfection cosmetic wise. They don,t seem to spend alot of time on cosmetic finish standards. Its like the 1911,s,m213 they shoot just fine but are a little rough around the edges so to speak.

Any body else finding that their buffer seems to stick, leaving the carrier all the way back when shooting the last round? You put the new mag in and the carrier is stuck back? A quick tap on the back of the stock releases the buffer...but kind of odd. I cant see any burrs/imperfections with the buffer tube.

The carrier is supposed to be held back on the last round.

The new Norc M4's really created alot of AR newbies....:)

I want to replace the ambi safety with a regular one..is there a trick to remove the safety??

-#### the hammer,
-Remove the pistol grip,
-remove the safety (unscrew the ambi and drift the other side out).
-Insert new safety, ensure the safety detent is in place,
-replace the pistol grip.

Test after assembly.
