Try looking at the target instead of the front sight tower. Use both eyes. If you look at most of the optics mounted on AR's you will notice that they are almost all mounted in line with the front sight tower.
I managed to play with the Millett DMS on my Norc today, very easy to use both as a scope and as a sight. I didn't lose zero between power settings, and the mount (Armalite) held zero when removed and replaced. Heavy but fun, and the price is very fair. The only thing I didn't like was the very mushy turret adjustments, they don't click they sort of slime, not good at all, but since it holds zero nicely, and cost $300 it's not a deal breaker.
Picked up AR15 handle scope mount rail $20 and 4x32 mildot compact scope $81 from MarStar, works great on the M4.
Do you have any problems with the quick release mechanism on the scope. I bought a laser/flashlight (NcStar) and it wiggles a bit on the foregrip rail.
Should the sling loops go to the side instead of the way they are mounted on the M4? I don't think the existing sling mounts work well with a tactical sling. If so, where do I get side mount sling loops and how do they attach?
Just reviving a dead thread - anyone who bought the first batch from Lever feel ripped off compared after Marstar released theirs?
Anyone feel the Marstar one's are higher quality?
