They are often seen on Cowboy Action ranges, they , for the most part, work passable for a shooter that doesnt require or want the cost of an original Win 97.
They are like the Nor 87's , some of them are fussy on what breed of ammo ejects reliably but for the most part the folks that want the "inexpensive experience" to shoot cowboy, they arent concerned with perfect speed usage. Your usage requirements will decide if it will work for you.
Even the original Win 97's can have a foible or two but for the most part they are much more reliable in extensive use or camp protection use than the Norinc's. My wife's 1901 circa 97 has shot thousands of rounds for her and still just will not jam, I dont think it has missed a beat since 2001 when we bought it.
