How about sight replacement on these? Possible options?

Yes. rear sight is a standard Colt dovetail. If front sight is staked on, it is a standard Colt M70 narrow tenon stake. If it is a dovetail, it is a non-standard narrow dovetail. Gunsmith will have to mill it wider for a Colt dovetail.

I used to have a norinco np29 9mm 1911 clone. Not a bad little pistol for the price. It shot nice, but the fit and finish could have been better. However you can't expect anything fancy for the amount you pay.

I just ordered one of the last new NZ85Bs that I could find from Canada Ammo. Their free shipping and level of customer service more than off set the considerably lower price I found at another dealer.

I read somewhere (maybe in Canada Ammo's forum) that Norinco is swamped with military contracts so civilian production is presently taking a back seat. Considering I posted that I was looking for one on a couple of different forums, and no one responded, tells me everyone likes theirs. I'm not sure how many they have at Canada Ammo, but anyone who wants one might want to get it sooner rather than later.
