Norinco NP34 too cheap to resist Range Test

Dear Ganderite...... Why, oh WHY did you start this thread?!!!! I always wanted the NP-34 (no rail) and your review and alert to the awesome price just pushed me over edge. My line of credit monthly installment is going to be a tad short this month!

We're all guilty of supporting the Chinese economy. 'Cause we're cheap SOG's.

To get a 1911 as good as a Norinco, you'd be paying 2 to 3 times as much.

If I were looking for another 1911, based on my experience with my current Nork and other 1911s, I would buy a Nork.

No one can afford to make a fully forged gun, other than the Chinese.

Ganderite your right this is a great pistol for a great deal.
I bought my NP34 about 2 months ago and im super happy with it. Just over 330 bucks i got the np34 with an extra mag shipped to my house. Hell I think ill buy one for my brother for this birthday.

Im sure. that some of the chinese support haters here probably own some type of chinese powered gasoline outdoor power equipment. But im sure thats ok though. Anyone for a champion genarator on sale at canadian tire for $199.99 regular $599.99. You see my point i own some norinco firearms for what i payed i got alot of enjoyment from them.

No, he’s got a fair point. It’s true that the Chinese government is evil and absolutely focused on global domination. It’s just not the whole truth. A well built and performing but also cheap pistol is desirable to many is also true though.

The American government is also based on global domination and colonialism. I bet most of these anti Chinese preachers in this thread have no problems about buying Smith & Wesson.

well it looks like the new ones are way better than the older models.
about 4 or 5 years ago me and my buddy bought these NP 34's for 3 gun.
They were the Most Inaccurate pistol we had ever fired.
we couldnt believe that we couldnt hit ANY of the targets at close range. Both guns Functioned great although.
We passed the NP's around to the other shooters and the resullts were the same.
This is a True and Honest review. I really wanted this pistol to work,....I liked it , but what a disappointment.
It seems "now" people are having a lot better luck with them. good for you guys, enjoy them !

No problems with my NP22 , shoots to poa and is quite accurate . no problem with ftf or fte so far . changed out the cheap plastic grips , fits in the hand good .
I was looking at a np34 but just dont like the look of the barrel sticking out past the slide . nice to hear good reviews on them though.

I'd take a norc 2011 if made forged

Good to hear you have a good experience with NP pistol.
Does anybody have an idea where to find repair parts for NP pistol. The firing pin on my Norinco NP 22 broke during dry firing, i googled trying to find replacement firing pin but failed. It seems that no any repair parts available in Canada. What a frustrating situation!

maybe a firing pin for a Sig 226 could work since the np22 is a copy/clone of it....btw Ganderite its your fault that I have NP34 on order lol
