Fired the first shots....totally impressed,all I really have done is cleaned the barrel and action and put on a cheap bushnell 22 scope.I did strip down and sand the stock,filled the huge 'notch'with a block of wood and filed in the right sized notch(much smaller ,big improvement)3 coats of epoxy and a couple of coats of rustoleum spray paint in 'hunter green'(I would have preferred to use their 'appliance epoxy'but it only came in gloss black or white)

Showed up today. Dent in the stock that matches a big dent in the box, maybe from shipping. Oh well.
Spent an hour or so cleaning it of all the packing oil. What is that stuff? My wife fell for the here smell this recoil pad trick. (stinky)
Loads and extracts ok, does peel a little of the round going in. Should be able to polish the feed ramp area up a little.
Might get it out tomorrow, but need some scope mounts.
Overall seems ok, about a week from Canada Ammo to my doorstep.
Before you polish the feed ramp check to see if a shell will slide up under the ejector and extractor without and resistance. Mine wouldn't and I had to file a little bit until it did. The shaving stopped with no other adjustments.

Took the bolt apart today and cleaned it up. Lots of gunk in and around the extractor,ejector that needed to be cleaned up. Seems like it is loading better.
Will have a look at the trigger group tomorrow and clean it up.
Other than the dent in the stock it looks pretty good. I plan on refinishing the stock anyhow so not a big deal. Thinking Krylon camo.

I was at the range yesterday and put another 70-80 rounds through the rifle. I still have to manhandle the bolt to eject the empty casings but the action is much smoother than before. The safety pin trigger spring works like a charm.
The best, without doubt, $200 I have spent in a very long time. (I bought a plastic Tikka T3 mag for $120, probably one of my most regretful purchases in 2014).
I think I'm up for another...........
