norinco reloading components?

The ironic thing is its' the bullet that is often the weak link in their ammo.

At least for 223 anyway. Those bullets have been Known to be somewhat undersized.

The stuff shoots well enough in my AR's, when I'm forced to get back into reloading I'd buy Norc 223 bullets .

The price would have to be right. Like $100 per 1000 or better.

Aye, apparently there's some heavy weight deviations on the bullets too. Nevertheless, would still get some if they were real cheap.

With all the threads about undersized bullets and cases that are splitting at the web on the first firing I think I'll hold out and pay a bit more for a more quality knowing that my hands/eyes and sanity are preserved for many more safe shots.............

Even some cheap .30 and.22 cal bi metal bullets for plinking reloads would be good. And some cheap(as in costs leas not lesser quality) bulk foreign powder sold by 10pound containers or 50 gal barrel or something like that.

If PPU and S&B can be brough in for less then american ammo and is of better quality for the price then you must be able to get components from them for cheaper to?

FMJ .223 55 grains are available in the US at $119 a 1000.
I would go for that anytime over cheap Norinco bullets that are undersize, variable weight and poor quality overall.
Reloading same money, but worth it only if you end up with quality reload. The only component I would use, is the brass case...
I would prefer that Russian components be made available. Their primers are notoriously good, seek for competition ammo.

I have never seen norinco components sold on there own here or abroad. I dont know if they focus on that as most of there business is military then the civillian market business as a small component. However it defenetly is a great idea, either through them or another manufacturer. Maybe CanadaAmmo can drum up the interest as they work directly with manufacturing for some of there product . They could pump plinking components out for dirt cheap.

I believe they do already:
https://www.canadaammo.com/product/detail/box-of-1000-dominion-arms-non-corrosive-boxer-small-pistol-primers/
As far as I know "Dominion Arms" is made in China, despite the Maple Leaf .
I find that $29.90 is quite stiff, I buy my primers locally for $36.00, Federal, Winchester and CCI.

Higginson powder sells Hornady 150 grs 308 bullets for $23.50/100.
The bullet is maybe the most important component of a cartridge, and it is not very smart to try to save a few pennies here.

I'd order 5000 .45 projectiles, at a decent price, with free shipping.
Norinco has never steered me wrong. Neither has CanadaAmmo.

well us made is all fine and dandy if u can find it in other calibres....in quantities

I setup a Importer Liscense myself to get 323 FMJ and 308 FMJ now cause of trouble getting either in Canada or at a decent rate I would prefer to purchase from canada but we seem to just mainly stock HP/SP mainly and weird ones I never use

You don't need a license, but yet components are tough to get, but that is changing fast now that the US is catching up.

I was stopped over and over trying to bring in Bullet Components from USA to me came down to ITAR or USA Prohibited Item Export unless import liscense I setup with Ottawa , in the end i setup a Importer Liscense for Personal use and now I can get them its a temporary move till I can get FMJ non 223/556 in large quantities

If we could buy the powder that is used in the Norinco yellow box .223 ammo. I would buy a lot of it, even if it is more then a US brand... That stuff is the cleanest burning propellent I have ever shot.
