Norinco T97 Non Restricted PRESALE!

This is my local shop that posted an add for the sale of a type 97 nsr. I can vouch for them. I also work there so I will post pictures and a video review when we have them come in. I will have more info tomorrow when I read the email myself.

I'll be in the shop tomorrow to figure out what's going on then I'll post an update on here if that's ok? I have limited info until I can get in tomorrow. Sorry for all the confusion guys. Thanks for the reply Ryan.
 
Tagged for updates. Had to look up who my preorder was with as it's been a while. Rumour has it the Chinese army is now issuing Type297. It's been that long... :ninja:
 
If there were any available for sale in Canada you can bet North Sylva would have at least announced that they were here. I call shenanigans.
 
I say with the lack of reply even the vendors don't know whats happening, I had emailed CanAm about buying one through them and was told close to year end and "where did you hear Aug 15th" I believe Frontier and a few others announced that date.

One dealer on here has listed the NSR as having an August 15 ish arrival date. Nothing has been verified yet.

As for the Canam NRR, I haven't seen an FRT number for that version unless they are using the NSR FRT number. Not sure it can work like that though. Each Chinese SKS gets a different FRT number for each arsenal stamp, so it would fall to reason that the NSR and NRR would have their own numbers.
 
Handled a "Demo" today at P&D in Edmonton - They have an August delevery date listed.

Pretty cheap, poor sights, but neat nevertheless.

I already pre-ordered, so I guess I am commited and I have 1600 rounds of Norinco ammo.
