Norinco T97 Non Restricted PRESALE!

The synthetic plastic used on the rifle is of pretty poor quality in my opinion, reminds me of a cheap SKS stock.

I really didn't like the sight picture and I don't think there is a way to readily mount optics.

With a price tag of $1000 or more, is it a good value???? Then again, it is non restricted!

The fit and finish was a little sub par but the action seemed pretty smooth.

Probably pretty similar to the M305 stocks and as I say, the action seemed pretty smooth.

Thanks for the sticky with mounting options.

Any Norinco product is usually rough but decently reliable, especially if you clean your firearms properly.

It is going to be nice to have a legal 223 non-restricted carbine and because the design is so unique, it still has some 'wow' factor. As a bonus, bulk 223 is also relatively cheap and easy to purchase at the moment.

Turns out the issue was canada ammo sent us an email saying then had a few type97s in stock an asked if we would like any shipped to us. My boss not know much about the rifles said ok send us a few then posted an add on cgn saying we have one coming in. Something didnt seem right. I spoke with Ryan at sfrc and explained to him I would check and see what's going on. My boss called can ammo the next day and they said it was a big mix up and they have a few spots left available for preorders. Just a bit bunch of confusion. Sorry for the mix up guys. It's was a pretty stupid situation. But just a misunderstanding through emails.

until I can see it in stock, I don't believe it.

You asked if they were ever getting the T97, not if they had it. Here you go, did it for you:
''This is a presale, they should be arriving in Fall/Winter 2013. You won't be billed until they arrive. .''

If you've got that kind of attitude towards it, I suppose you haven't been following the whole thing very closely. Go see North Sylva's thread on the matter, it's got all the information you need.

Ya. Like that happens on the EE every day. 1/3 off sales.

Usually the EE is at least double the retail price LOL so we know $650 is not true........But for a mere $1500 I will give up my place in line for a chance to purchase one at full retail when they arrive, Any Takers.....no? Last chance at this deal....lol

TheManInBlack it might get down to $700-$800 at some point, but I'm willing to bet that the first and second shipments won't sit on shelves.
