Sorry, but there will be no special upgrades other than the longer barrel. This is a military factory and just getting the longer barrel was difficult.

So it has been suggested we come up with some type of Norgon mag release for the T97. If it is possible we will do it. I need some good pics from those that already own a T97, of the mag release.

thes pics are from Robak's 97 post (hope he doesn't mind me using them here). If you need more pics I can take some pics of mine.

My initial impressions are that the gun just "feels" good and it's very "pointable". With all the working parts being close to the body it's very easy to wield.
The primary negative point is the @#$@ mag release. To be compatible with the AR mags the mag release button (like on an AR) is on the right side of the gun. However it is not a smooth motion to activate it with the left hand.
To attempt to counter this I had hoped that it might be possible to install a Norgon Ambi-catch, but when I borrowed a friend's to see it was a no-go. The mag button is heavily staked in

and the dimensions of the 2 catches are completely different in length (Norgon on top of the 97A's mag catch):
