so with all this 1911 talk, what exactly is better about the Rugers? my Norinco is quite accurate...just curious haha
Honestly, Norinco supporters - quality? Check out your kitchen drawer, if you have Ginsu knives then definitely get the Norinco. If you want a real gun then pay real gun money. It is embarassing to see all of this Norinco talk. Man up and support your neighbour, buy a real gun.
If Norinco does it for you I will assume that you brag about the accuracy of the TT-33.
Pathetic.

I didn't hesitate to buy the Ruger SR1911 at all. I however, am not a fan of the Ruger P89, P90 or other [non .22lr] semi-auto pistols they also offer. I had a NIB P90 .45ACP circa 1990 that was a real POS. I traded it back to my local dealer where it came from for something useful.
The SR1911 is a different kettle of fish, though.
I like it!

really?
my first gun was a Ruger P-89 and i still have it to this day.
love that gun!

And that's why I'm a Norinco fan!![]()
Never did trust a gun manufacturer who produced a firearm that couldn't be field stripped, IN THE FIELD!![]()

Are you saying the SR is harder to strip?
