That and the allowable x39 rifles are going to make this a more viable rifle in Canada. I have been rooting for people to step up with aftermarket XCR support in Canada for a while. I originally thought it might be Dlask who would bring something like this to market, but NEA seem to be taking over with a lot of innovative stuff and of course by doing this in Canada we're side-stepping the US DOS export restrictions.
I would REALLY like to see the XCR continue development and become a major contender. It has a lot going for it from the perspective of Canadian shooters IMO. The more aftermarket support the XCR has, the faster it will go from "unknown but interesting" to "workable AR alternative".
Granted the Canadian market is probably a small piece of the puzzle, but still...
