Northern Ontario first nations want to limit moose hunting.

This, and all the other reasons why moose populations are suffering is why natives have to get on board with limiting harvest numbers to what is sustainable in that particular area. It doesn't matter if habitat is improved, and the ticks are wiped out and fences are put up along all problem areas on highways. Unrestricted harvesting by any group has to end. Times have changed, like it or not. Keeping a close eye on things does not excuse anyone from killing game of any ### when they are in winter yards or family groups. This is no longer sustainable. Things have to change.
