Hayya H4831, what's the oldest hat you own?

Now eye'm pester'in..................:D:D:D :p

Thanks for the invite the other day.
I now own a spare mag for the BLR 81 358. ;)
Not much into naming my primer poppers, but this one
may git named.........ya ready......?

Look'in Good................

Here is my first time using Imageshack.
Picture is of my brother with a 1930s Saskatchewan boondocks elk.
Notice his hand is over the rifle barrel, something we don't reccommend.
However, the oldtime hunters did a lot of such things.
Don't know whether this is going to work.
[Now what do I do, to get the picture from Imageshack?

Thanks TAZZY, for putting the picture up.

great photos. Thanks to all who contributed so far!

To post your photos you just need to click the little mountain scene icon above the reply box and insert the URL address for the photo. You should just be able to copy/paste it from ImageShack, Photobucket, etc.

I use Photobucket now but if i recall, on imageshack you should select the image you want, right click on it and select share image from the menu that comes up. Once you do that there should be a window with the pic details in it. Click on the one that has then the info[img]. It should be highlighted then. Right click and copy it. Go to where you want to insert it and click paste. It should come up for ya. Hope it works.

Thanks. I think it was the 'right' clicks I wasn't doing.

This is not really hunting, but it's an early 1950s shot at a once famous Chilcotin, BC ranch, on branding day. We had permission to hunt deer on the ranch and we took this day off to watch branding.
I saw this photogenic Native Indian cowboy saddling his pony and came up behnd, going to get a picture when he turned arond. He had lost an eye when a branch hit it, as he was on his horse chasing a steer through the bush.
When he did turn, it looked exactly like a cowboy in a western show, going for his six-gun!
But I got the picture.

Thank you for all the great pictures.

What kind of snow shoes are these?

Thanks again, for putting the picture up.
The snowshoes are homemade. He made them, starting from scratch with birch strips, heated in the steam from boiling water, so they would bend. He finished them with either elk or moose rawhide.
Also note he is wearing Indian moccasins, ideal for snowshowing and perfect for hunting, without snowshoes.

A photo I would like to share, taken around 1915-1920 in the Kamloops area, the fellows name is William French, the rifle is a savage 99 in 250-3000. Enjoy!!!!
