Nostalgic Hunting Pictures

Hunting

I'm new to the site but not to hunting. I know this thread is old, but I think it's great! This is my first post and I'm somewhat computer challenged so I hope I've done this right and people can view these photos I've attached. They are of my family's deer camp in Ontario that was founded in 1908 and include pics of my dad and uncles.

The camp is still operational. I got a four pointer first week of rifle after dislocating my shoulder the week before and an eight pointer second week.

Great pictures, guys. Dad grew up in Long Branch, played with his mates on the lands that would become the Arsenal. Here he's stalking deer on Etobicoke Creek, 1956. He said this big ol tree tipped over after Hazel washed away the bank underneath it

My only shot of my great-grandfather with gun in hand. Looking the part of the pioneer farmer. Wapoose Ranch, Alberta circa 1920.

Likely a hardware store quality double. English stocked of course ;)

Here's my grandpa in late 30s or early 40s with some of that seasons fox and the best pair of hounds he had. He did work out but still depended on hunting and trapping as well for income.

Some pictures from my Dad's albums. He passed away in 2015 at 88 years of age...most spent hunting ducks and pheasant around Aurora, Schomberg and Richmond Hill to feed the family. Well before anything was really built up :)
