Not many pieces left in my WWII collection.

I was lucky ---I had two Lugers with two matching S/n magazines---I sold the 1938 dated Luger on CGN.

I am keeping the 1937 because it was given to me in 2001 by the vet that brought it back.

I have a record of his military history---he was also a family friend and my first boss.

Very cool story. I can see why you’re keeping it.

Very nice Luger. A WW2 era one with 2 matching mags is something that I have been searching for since I got into the German handguns

Strange how things happen sometimes.

The 1938 dated S-42 Luger with two matching magazines (shown above) was purchased at a small country gun shop outside of Brockville Ontario in August 2004. It did not come with a holster.

In August 2003 I had purchased the P.38 ac-42 (shown in this thread) at the same gun shop that came in a very nice 1936 dated Luger holster.

I did not need to go looking for a new holster for the 1938 dated Luger.

Luckily the vet that picked up the 1937 dated Luger in Dunkirk when the Germans were turning in their weapons got a 1937 dated holster with the two matching magazines.
