I was lucky ---I had two Lugers with two matching S/n magazines---I sold the 1938 dated Luger on CGN.
I am keeping the 1937 because it was given to me in 2001 by the vet that brought it back.
I have a record of his military history---he was also a family friend and my first boss.
Jason--this is a thread that I posted on CGN on 05/08/2020.

It tells the story of the vet that brought back this Luger.
How lucky was he (and me) picking it up after the German surrender with two matching magazines in a 1937 dated holster.
