Not much review for the JAE-100

Catwork,

There is a few reviews with alot of pics on the battlerifles forum. do a search there and you'll find lots of info, and one really long review with some nice pictures. Or Call them direct, and speak with Lisa in customer service. I haven't talked to her, but the guys on BR say she really knows he stuff about the stock, and the M14.

From what I have read on here and the "other" forum..............

If you can handle the price, they are a great stock. Tad on the heavy side, but seem to be well built and liked by those who have bought.

Like all good things they are pricey, but no more so than a Sage or McMillan. The JAE has a fit and feel like nothing else though, it seems you have found this out already.
They do add a lb or 2 but once an action/barrel are fitted it balances the rifle nicely.

Is the JAE-100 compatible with the Smith Enterprises / A.R.M.S #18 mounts?

Yes

With the arms you may have to dremal a little notch in the handguard like you would a GI one.
Best to track down a flush set screw.....someone out here knows the pitch and size.

No bedding required on the stock as it is an inner perfect fit...

Adjustable as well I reckon...ie using small screw settings to ensure perfect fit

Weight of JAE-100

The JAE-100 stock weighs a little over 5 lbs with all of the included accessories. 10 lbs is the total shipping weight which also includes the box, protective foam, tools, & extra spacers.:dancingbanana:

I'll weigh mine tomorrow, with all it's accessories, and take some pictures. I won't give a big report, but will try to put something together.

Norinco M-14S
JAE-100 stock in coyote brown
ARMS 18 mount
Rock Mount 9-13" swivel mount bipod
Accushot 8-32 x 56, 30mm tube, illuminated mil dot
- 1/8" clicks, 25 MOA in eac direction
- side wheel parallax adjustment
- high rise rings

15 pounds, all up, with a 'fully' loaded mag.

The rifle has an extended bolt catch, solid op rod spring guide and USGI spring. There is also a buffer intalled behind the spring. The stock is very comfortable and well balanced. As you see it, is the way it comes, including the bottom rail. Various spacers in the cheek rest and butt allow for fine tuning the fit. I really like the stock. If you have the money, I think it's worth it. Very well engineered and thought out.The scope is very clear and well made. It has seen a few hundred rounds, so far, and hasn't lost it's zero. The side wheel allows for very fine focus, at all ranges and magnifications. There's been no problem with ejecting cases hanging up under, or striking the Arms mount.

How do you like the stock so far? Worth the roughly $1000?

What do you think of the Accushot scope? Like it? Decent quality?

Does the JAE-100 come with the rail on the bottom that your pibod mounted to?
Thanks.
