Not the best experience (Resolved)

Jeff,

I apologize for the incorrect pricing. Unfortunately the price is effected by when we purchase the product. My employee should have contacted me
about the issue regarding the website price. We were actually out of stock on that item but it looks like those stocks just landed
in our store yesterday evening. Due to the incorrect pricing and inconvenience I will be able to honor our mistake made and give you the stock
for $134.95. Please email me at travis@shootingcentre.com. Hopefully we can make your experience enjoyable and earn your trust again!

P.S. Free shipping right now so even more savings to be had! Look forward to doing some business :)

Good on ya Wild West! and good on you Jeff for sharing your experience in a calm balanced way. Kind of getting tired of seeing the same people jumping on others every time a negative experience is shared. Ya some people are ridiculous and are just cry babies throwing a tantrum but those are easy to spot. Jeff actually did Wild West a favour with sharing his experience, he could have just written them off and bad mouthed them to everyone he knew. Instead Wild West was given an opportunity to respond and they chose to make him happy and we all got to see how they treat and value their customers. Makes the guys calling the OP a whiner look pretty stupid!

Absolutely, any feedback whether good or bad is always welcome as it lets us know what we are doing right, and what we need to improve on.
In this case it addressed an issue that we needed to correct. It was great that we were able to learn from it and keep a customer in the process!

Happy Thursday everyone!

I purchased a Beretta ARX 160 in 22lr from them a few weeks ago. Initially they had 1 "combo" rifle with 10 rd mag + extended mag left on the website so i jumped on that deal.

The next morning I got a call from Kale informing me that unfortunately they didn't have any extended mags left in stock. So i was given 2 options. 1 they could offer me a free red dot sight in place of the extended mag plus
I would be getting the gun for a cheaper price. Or option 2 I could wait for the extended mags to come in and they would ship the rifle when they landed.

Obviously I took option 1 lol!! Also, shipping was ridiculously fast. Ordered Friday morning (shipped from Edmonton to Ontario) and the gun arrived on Monday morning.

Kudos to Kale and the team at Wild West Shooting Centre, you've earned a customer for life!

Hi Ryan, new stock came in yesterday at a higher price, try to keep up.

I already posted that I would send Jeff his $20, but I guess he never bought it. Jeff, I'll still send you $20, send info to ken@kanadakidd.com and we can part friends. Or, you can take Travis up on is offer above.

I didn't buy one either... can I also get $20?

Just kidding. It now seems that there was a mistake with the listing. While I agree that the OP has a right to, (and should), call the vendor and question them about it, I still don't see the need to run to CGN and post a lengthy complaint about it. Mistakes happen. I don't think vendors should have to suffer a loss because of a simple typo, especially when it hasn't affected the customer (it's not like they drove 2 hours to the store for what they thought was a great sale price). However, if the vendor wants to make an effort to appease the potential buyer in the name of good customer relations, then good on them.

The End.

If you don't have a problem with mislabelled prices, items, descriptions then ya this wouldn't bother you. I guess other companies spoiled me.

I have a problem with mislabelled stuff too, but I'm not perfect so I accept that mistakes happen. I might get a little miffed, but I don't start a thread like this as a lever to get my way.

Even after its resolved, the fanboys still can't help themselves. Too funny!

Retailers are responsible for the advertising they put out there. If they forget a zero on the end thats one thing but to be off by $20 they should be called on it. Now I don't believe for one second that Wild West did this on purpose but if you think there aren't retailers out there posting incorrect prices to get more web traffic your incredibly naïve.

Very true, we have seen this from retailers (we will leave unnamed) multiple times as we do offer price matching. Definitely not the case with us but something
the informed buyer should always be aware of!

Enlightening to see that whining on the internet has become a negotiation 'technique'. Kind of like the people that race to grocery stores the day after the flyer expires and look for mis-priced items to get them for free at the register.. Good on WW for addressing the passive-aggressive types....
