He is not right ......... My thought process is that temporary closing the woods for a few days is hardly the same as having your firearms confiscated, never to be allowed to own that firearm again. Folks put their own selfish wants over the protection of those who have a lot more to lose than them. I live in a heavily wooded area and have a lot to lose and fully agree with the temp closures. I dare say that those who would stomp the most about the temp. closures would most probably live in a spot that would not be threatened by fires so have nothing to lose.
How many homes have been lost in NS this summer alone to wildfires? (From AI ...... Wildfires in the Long Lake area of Annapolis County destroyed 20 homes on Sunday, August 24.)
Why didn’t you bother replying to my last post and just left an emoji?
Can’t think of any logical reason to ban law abiding citizens from walking in a forest?
Trying to search for ways that someone walking might ignite a fire? Maybe if they drag their feet long and hard enough the friction could create fire?
You let everyone know your stance so why are you backing down? Share your thoughts so us dumb dumbs can understand how someone walking in a forest is a fire risk.
I’ll wait….
