November Purchases

Speaking of Austrian arms, here is my newest acquisition after years of searching! A fully matching military config, 7/10 bore M95M, Steyr manufacture. Stock is original as well, and matching, and has the inspection marking on the buttstock side!

Thank you kindly. I've been looking for one since I started collecting, and am happy and proud to own it! Bore is slightly gray, but no pitting and strong lands! Intact extractor too. Seems like she was a WWII bring back and left in a basement in Quebec for 60 + years.
 
Great Lebel! They are rare as hen's teeth in all but relic condition out of Syria here in Canada. I have Berthier's to death, but never a nice Lebel :(

I ordered it from Brownells. You have to get a International Import Certificate from the Canadian Government (can be done online and there is no cost) then send it with a written declaration to Brownells by mail (no fax, email) who then forwards it to the U.S. DOS. You will be charged by Brownells for processing the application for them to export the SEI brake to Canada. Plus it takes a while to get approval. That and the price/shipping for the brake.

Definitely doable but a bit of a PITA. If you can find one here for a good price I'd go that way.
 
Well the trade was made in late October but it just arrived yesturday. (I came from Masset BC to Ontario)

1943 BSA dispersal rifle 4 groove barrel. Beautiful beech stock.
