Alright so the Canadapost lady just dropped it off. Here are some pics I snapped up of the unboxing.













So the pistol was covered in thin oil. Its very nicely finished and looks good. It has a fairly heavy trigger pull. Definitely feels more solid then my Norincos as everything is nice and tight on it. Overall pleased with the pistol! I feel like this could sell for a lot more then it did
 
I got mine also. Very nice, too bad I didn't order another one!!Maybe I will have another chance .
 
Hitzy, have a look at the other Questar thread regarding the incomplete parts kits (frame, barrel, etc...) for these things. There's a decent photo of the barrel there. Looks like it does have the Browning style barrel lockup...

I saw those and they are the real deal. I just can't make out the oval pin in any of those above pics.....

****EDIT, now I can see it on my laptop (couldn't on my phone), pin is there, nothing to see here, carry on :)

Thanks for posting the pics L30 710. Looks pretty good I'd say. Hopefully the insides are decently machined - as that seems to be the biggest complaint about these (cosmetically speaking of course).
 
Looks good. I first saw this pistol line back in early 90s. They also have a PPK clone (.380) but will not make it here (prohib). Solid build, heavy but a lot better in quality compared to Norks.

If they've got more where these ones came from I'm sure they'll sell out even faster than the last lot did. Unfortunately, FEG has been out of business for quite a number of years now and the majority of these pistols found on the market are in used condition...
 
I went for one, and the parts gun as well. If you ever looked at the price of Browning HP parts.....the barrel alone costs about $100 more then these complete guns.
 
What finish is that!? It sorta looks like a very dark "blueing" that's basically pure black. It doesn't look like paint or some other coating.
 
Yes!! Canada Post lady just dropped mine off...I'm hoping to find some time around being Dad's Taxi for today to put a few rounds through it this afternoon.

ETA: it is a really good looking gun. The finish is very rich and dark. However, with all the running around I have on tap today I don't think I'll be shooting it until tomorrow at the earliest.
