NR Escort BullTac Shotgun Semi-Auto 12, 20, and 410 Available $259.94 USD for Import

My research indicates that all parts interchange between the HK/ Fabarm FP6 and the Hatsan Escort. The FP6 is a pump tho.

Looking at the H&K SLS 2002 - the internals look exactly the same as a Hatsan Escort Auto. - certainly an HK design.

Looking at a diagram for the Escort bull pup, it’s certainly very close to the original Escort MPA.

I have an MPA that I can compare parts to, when I eventually take it down for cleaning.

Yes this is a Turkish shotgun, but Hatsan isn’t just an unbranded/ then Rebranded hunk of Turkish junk - they are quite well known for reliability and quality.

Edited for greater accuracy
Thanks for sharing your research. I've found something similar, that Canuck Defenders are a Fabarm SDASS derivative, which I believe is close to the FP6.

Interesting. I may have to pick one up.

I just ordered a K6SR picatinny rail mounted six shell holder for my BullTac - I like having predator defense rounds handy when I’m out squirrel hunting my property.

And for those who want to save the squirrels, they’re a problem pest on my property - routinely chewing electrical, my bbq covers, and anything fabric they can get their grimy paws on.

I'm going for a 12 Gauge, & keeping an eye for a Pump in .410. Is your .410 noticeably lighter, thinner etc. .. I guess ithey're all about he same length. I think a little .410 pump would be perfect for my GF to play around with, easy for her to get familiar with, light weight, esp. if out in the Bush etc. by herself, picking' berries ;)
I like the 410 myself. I bought the 20 gauge also but I like the 410 better. The 410 has a bolt release button on the side where the 12 and 20 gauge do not.
I put the 20 gauge up for sale

I bought the 20 gauge as well but for being only a 20 gauge and semi auto it sure kicked like a mule.
Full power 12 gauge slugs and 00 had been quite punishing in mine.

The reduced recoil slugs had been a pleasure.

I never had a semi shotgun b4. Do 'reduced' slugs work as effectively for the 'Break in period"? Would only high velocity slugs & Buck shot work to break in these semi's? Then after that, Standard or cheaper bird shot 'should' cycle?

Some people are big believers in ‘break in’, I’m not as big a believer. Some people more knowledgeable then me swear by it tho.

The Score reduced recoil are way low in recoil, much lower then the LE reduced recoil slugs we use at work.

The Score slugs would not cycle my Benelli M2 speed or my VR-66, and low brass birdshot cycles both those guns. They work in the Eacort bulltac tho, and that’s impressive.

I’d say just buy some decently powerful rounds and enjoy.

Very tempting, but is there any warranty support or parts availability in Canada? That's my only concern.

Gravel Agency says you get a one year warranty on Hatsan... IF it was bought from an authorized Hatsan dealer in Canada. It would appear that buying one from IRG USA wouldn't meet that requirement as stated.

Apparently Hatsan USA has the picatinny rail that replaces the carrying handle for sale, $35 USD each. Will probably double before it gets up here.

Cost me $114 to ship two of these to Ontario that's the cheapest method. Shipping absolutely killed it for me. Aside from that was a good buy and the shotguns are very nice well made.

It was also shipped in a box that was over a foot longer than the inside boxes pushing it over the $25 large package fee so that's great.

All in all. IRG is a sweet place to deal with and awesome service and amazing hard to find products. You gotta pay to get the cool toys. I just wish shipping was legit and done alot smarter.

Basically was just under $500cnd per gun after everything. Definitely a good purchase and I will definitely be ordering the flat top version when it does come in.
Under $500 is shipping, USD to CAD, and GST right?
