That was sarcasm on my part, they're just battery holders, not genuine PEQ-15's.![]()

So much BS in this thread, it's almost comic. CGN at his best
Anyway for those interested in GEN3 NVG, no fear of black helicopters: you can legally buy and own them in Canada. No black market or shabby back alley business, but by regular and reputable stores that won't ask you your secret squirrel ID.
Google is your friend.

we can provide a us made housing with Gen2+ photonis tube, which is better then most gen III o nthe market , with out an an end user cert.
many police forces in the US and canada are using this, as wel las the UK MOD.
I would put a genII+ photonis tube up against 80% of the Gen III out on the market.
price is good too!
what im saying is that many of the countrys that sell NV have restrictions of selling gen III, I.E. UK, holland, spain swiss.
as well as many others, that want to do biz with the US or any major nato country will not sell genIII to the public for fear of pissing off the US goverment.
I counld provid a Photonis Gen II plus in a US houseing for less then $3k that would work as well as many of the Gen III on the market.
Half the worlds NV makers are using Photonis tubes.

And being spread by a supporting retailer nonetheless.
Again, not law, but "good business policy".
From a buyer experience, nobody asked me anything, just my VISA #
That's why I call BS.
Ask those kids at Airsoft Canada about their user cert![]()

If I'm out in the woods with a GENIII night sight goggle and an LEO stops me they can do what? Call the US and have me charged for an ITAR violation. This makes no sense.
