October purchases

Different actions. One is a small ring Mauser 93 action (#### on closing - similar to a Swedish Mauser). The other is an uncommon small ring Mauser 98 action, similar to a Kar98AZ, #### on opening classic K98 type bolt setup.

Bought a couple SK.Y finn m39 web slings from a place in the US, cant stand the newer leather ones

No photos yet as it's still in layby in the shops back room, But I've put down the deposit on an NZ Artillery Snider. more to come when I get my mitts on it :D

I got a MN Sling with Russian markings :)

And I picked up a Jungle carbine, (pics to follow).

Nov 1944 FAZ Manufacture.

It had a SK Scope mount that I have removed and a nice Monti Carlo (I mean nice) sporter stock. The stock is still on it.

I plan on putting the correct stock on.

You could almost say I have a membership on the P&S website... lol.

The ex-snipers were tempting (and not import marked!), but I'd rather wait for an original (non-EX) sniper to come along at the right price.

arrived this morning, built in may '55? (58610xx). its a greek return from the cmp, covered in cosmoline. mw close to 1 (dont have a gauge but it shows as much as my other M1 with a mw of 0) might go to range tomorrow.

Original German k98 manuals

Not sure if I showed these yet, had them for a few weeks now. Original wartime German manuals for the K98 rifle. My buddy picked me up two of them, in pretty decent condition considering age. Nice accessory.

Top left is the October addition, along with some leather. DC marked and pristine bore, 95% original blue, original ramrod, blah blah. Very happy with it. Never thought I would see the day I own a black powder anything, but it's Canadian and fills a spot.
1861 dated, London Armory, and BSA conversion.

Close ups later. Canadian marked to go with the rest of the wall. Everything up there is either Canadian made and/or Canadian marked.. Except the Sten, so if anybody out there knows of a 12.3 Long Branch Sten for sale or trade with a great Brit sten, puleeezzzz let me know.

OK, here are the aforementioned close up shots of the 1867 Birmingham Small Arms Co., conversion of the Snider Enfield as made at the London Armories in 1861.

I don't think the barrel/receiver has ever been taken out of the stock, and I'll keep it that way.

I tried to get a shot of the bore, but haven't figured out the manual focus yet. The bore is mirror bright.

Anybody know where I can find an original nipple protector with chain?

I can hardly wait to chop the stock and fit it for a Magpul M93 and RAS.
