***OFFICIAL*** FAMAE SG 542 SEMI-AUTO .308 is NON-RESTRICTED **ACCEPTING PRE-ORDERS**

DoubleA TI answered this question. no import markings, FWIW the markings have NO AFFECT on the function of the rifle. if buying for looks, buy art.

Do you have this same logic for cars as well? If so how is that Pontiac Aztek treating you?

Buying a cheapie firearm and worrying about identifying marks is like being bald and wearing a hat to try and hide it.

More like paying someone to shave your head then trying to hide it with a hat....but even that is a pretty poor analogy.

I ass u me that Gulity is calling it a cheap gun because it is cheaply mass made not because it is selling cheaply in Canada.

If you can lower the cost of something while maintaining high performance, that's the sign of a good design.

Buying onerous things for the sake of spending lots of money is the pass time of a fool.

The first part is pretty obvious.
Second part not so much... Did you read that in a fortune cookie? :)
Maybe something got lost in translation.

preordered
For any of you guys sitting on the fence about T.I. all I can say is they look after their customers I had a small problem with one of the two skorpions I ordered and they went out of their to fix it immediately and threw in a wood grip for the trouble. On the third scorpion I ordered I got some wicked body armor as a gift they were giving away. Never worry about these guys.

Nice

To put this thread back on a positive track...

Who's getting antsy to get their hands on their FAMAE? I know I can't wait.

I'm very eager. I'd be interested in an ar15 stock adapter though... And maybe a FF handguard?

Stock will be fine for awhile but I'll want to upgrade eventually!

I keep looking outside for snow.
Is it winter yet?

I can't wait.
Funny that folks want to AR-ifiy it already???
I kind of like it how it comes.
