Did you not already buy one from the other dealer? (at least that was implied in the other thread). I would think that he would give his customers the best deals on the above.
Just as TI would give theirbuyers first priority/best deals on accessories.

I wonder if this model has a lined barrel of some sort (chrome or nitrided). Although it'd be nice if it did, it's not a deal breaker (as mentioned earlier by others).

The 540 series predates the 550 series and is not named prohibited. The 550 and variants are named prohibited in bill C68.

The Swiss Arms have been deemed a 'variant of a named prohib -namely, the SG 550.

These rifles are SG540 variants - which are NOT named prohib, meaning it just follows the rules for other NR rifles.
