OK boys, talk me into a Savage

:) Same here, and I like the confidence that those small tight groups impart when in the field.

And that's why people buy Savage. They're accurate and they instill confidence.

Well, that concludes this thread and this episode of "Savage rifles. Love 'em? Or hate 'em?" Tune in next week when we'll revisit this thread for the 100th time. But wait, there's more! Yes! Also included in next weeks line-up will be many old time favorites! "Does ammo have to be locked up?" "Is the 30-30 good enough for deer?" "Why are prices so high in the EE?" "Can I bring a scope back from the US in my suitcase?" and everybody's favorite: "What's the best gun for bear defense?"

Tune in, you won't want to miss it!:p

While Schultz & Larsen are near & dear to my heart, I do have a few other brands of bolt action, one of which is a Savage 112BVSS in 25-06. I've previously posted pictures of it and scans of targets I've shot with it and it's one of the most accurate rifles I have.
