Ok guess this is normal..... You can delete.......

I guess the OP will realize there is a wait associated with CanadaAmmo and will decide if he wants to purchase again, rather than purchasing and ranting on the forums. This seems to happen on a weekly basis however, in other sponsors forums as well. I think patience is the key. Gun stores are getting bombarded with record number of orders, yet some still don't think slowdowns are tolerable. Why do you think the Ontario CFO is backed up for 5 weeks? Tons of buying/selling took place in the last couple months.

Most sponsors are at SHOT, so decide whether you want to wait or not.

My order was not for ammo, and I am not saving S&^T!!!!!!!

I ordered a F'n shotgun, and I would like to shoot it while it's still warm here.

I don't mind a short wait, but now I am being told 3 to 4 weeks to fill an order? The more I think about it the more I find it unacceptable. I am gonna have to call and get clarification straight from them in the AM.

In the meantime I have ordered 2 knives, some shotgun slugs, and an sks from other places, and all have been processed and shipped.

All the excuses about shot, or influx of orders don't mean a damn thing to me. If they aren't set up to handle this kind of business they need to change their policy. Their email says 3 days/72 hrs. They failed. Plain and simple.

Because you are oh so important, I will play the world's smallest violin for you.

Complain all you want. The "fanboys" are "fanboys" for a reason. Canadaammo does a lot more business than you would think. Rather than bash one of your own (we are all on the same side, no?) do not buy from them again. Many of us enjoy CGN and hate seeing these wasteful threads flooding our opening page.

Unbunch your panties, wipe your tears and move on. Cancel your order and buy somewhere else. Obviously you are trying to force anger into your keyboard and it makes you look ridiculous. The solution is simple. Cancel and buy elsewhere. Have you received your shotgun yet? If not, then the whining on here has done nothing.

This thread was a question, and not intended to bash, but I guess your reading comprehension is lacking.

Did you notice the title of this thread has now changed, as I got my answer, and did not want this to be about bashing? I simply wanted to know if others had the same issues, and that I didn't have to worry. Yet you continue bumping it back to the top for others to read. It is over, and done with but your childish comments continue.

And I look ridiculous?

Posts I made like the one you quoted above, only came after fanboys like you came along and started calling me a whiner, and telling me to shop elsewhere, or that i was being impatient, etc.

And if you could read you would see that the item I ordered is not available anywhere else. So cancelling and ordering elsewhere is out of the question.

But you have all the answers I guess, eh?

There is alot more I could say, and comparisons to be made, but I stopped.

Why don't you do the same, instead of tryin to get that last insult in to make yourself feel good, or look cool among the other fanboys.

You're a hero bud. Keep it up..........

I wonder if all these guys would just sit around and wait to have a vehicle fixed or their furnace serviced in 14-21 days. Service should be fairly quick, pick product off shelf, package product and ship. I've seen engines and transmissions repaired and installed quicker.

Am I the only one who thinks that in this day and age that is a little bit unacceptable?

14-21 days?

WTF?

The CFO does transfers faster than Canada Ammo process their orders.

There is a large segment of the gun community that accepts slow service as the norm and feels we should bow to the lack luster service providers because they are doing us a favour

x100.

Well said. ;)

Hypocritical, no?

I referred to you as being a whiner because you are and continue to do so.

If you do not like canadaammo... Cancel your order. If you want something only they carry, have patience. Throwing a temper tantrum certainly will not earn you any friends on here.

I have been on year long plus wait-lists for orders with various gun companies. It happens. It isn't a great feeling, but it happens. I figured that someone who has on average 7 posts per day over 4 straight years as well as having bought and sold 88 items on the EE would know that sometimes these things take time in the online gun world. There are also appropriate methods to go about doing things. Our allies are few and far between anyway. The fact that CGNers are attacking dealers in droves over very little issues in a public forum is disturbing.

This fanboy has no ties or affiliations to any dealer, FYI.

I am glad that the title of the thread has been amended and that you now have a basic understanding of things.

if that's all you think goes on when you place your order with on on-line only firearms business you are sadly mistaken. Perhaps you should look into merchant processing conditions of on-line ONLY stores, then look into online only firearms business conditions (no store front). That topped with relying on the CFC and their archaic technology to confirm people PALs, topped with what's involved with actually picking orders and realizing 60 lbs crates don't float of shelves and into boxes on their own.

Merchant processors treat online only business's like crap and put tons of conditions on them to make it more difficult to process orders to make sure people arnt being scammed. Add in the fact you sell guns and ammo and the put even more conditions on you. next time your at a bank ask for a pamphlet from chase payment tech or any other processors and have a gander for yourself.

why do you think companies like HiCal, CCTS etc dont offer retail firearm sales.

Im not justifying the slow processing and shipping times, but it seems a lot of people out there assume that buying guns and ammo from an online only business is the same as buying a book off of Amazon when that is not the case.

If on line businesses are so difficult, shut er down, obviously not worth it. I prefer to walk into a shop, talk to a real life person and walk out the door with their purchases. But I understand why some folks are afraid to venture outside.

Lol, that probably explains OP's cri de coeur. Being glued to a computer causes some people to get an occasional breakdown at the thought of having to move their legs.

Anyone planning to start a business needs to get a list of all the fanboys with low expectations. Obviously the fanboys don't know the issue being poor expectation management. Fact is (and a good fact) CanAm is too successful resulting in delayed service. Fact is CanAm is NOT providing their valued customers with notices. DON'T sent out 72 hrs processing WHEN it is a FACT that "promise" will be broken.

IS it that hard to put out a notice of possible delays to let smart customers decide if the wait is warranted; alternatively leave your valued customers in the dark whilst the fanboys defend bad policy. Their MAIN page say to LIKE them on facebook, Twit about them, in today's madness for instant communication is it too much to ask for a "possible delay" notice.

BTW: BROWNELL has a IN YOUR FACE notice with YELLOW background notifying customers of possible delays. SMART COMMUNICATION to manage customer expectation.

CanAm PLEASE ship my order, you guys say 72 hours to process and ship but it's been 10 days since I placed my order and it still hasn't shipped. I feel even worse for the people that have been waiting longer. If you're backed up on orders because of the holidays you should post a notice on your website saying that so people know before they order. And why not temporarily hire another person or bring someone into the warehouse as a favor to help fill these orders that you're behind on. Most of all though, please be honest. I dont like being told my items will ship out on weds and its now friday and still hasn't shipped.

Placed a order for 5 Boxes of ammo back on Dec. 28 and received my shipment today and with the included targets and a surprise, a small replica of a M-16, its a pen, thank you CanAm.
