Hello from Oklahoma!! I was searching the web looking for some info on Canadian gun laws and found you guys. Judging by what I have read in these forums I should get reliable info here.
I am in the process of making a "knock-around rifle". the kind that you toss in the back of your truck on a trip, but is still accurate and reliable. It is an old M1917 Enfield that Bubba had his way with. It is still a sound rifle and will be a good rifle for my purposes.
The info that I am looking for is what is the min barrel length for a rifle in Canada?
I do realize that if I were to take it into Canada, I would have to take a class, pass a test, and apply for a permit to bring it across the border.
There are no plans in the immediate future for this, but I do want it to be legal just in case.
Thanks in advance to all that reply to this post. You guys have a fine forum, and are a good bunch of GUN NUTZ.
