The only Glocks I ever seem to find for sale are all mint, low round count etc. Where are all the older Glocks, pre finger grooves and light rails? There must be some out there that have seen lots of holster use with high round counts. Is it that these guns just never die or are they just so loved that they are never sold?

Any thoughts?

Got one in my holster. Not too sure of the Gen, but it has no rail and no finger grooves. Was a LE turn in when I got it a few years ago and has since had about 5K through it. Still goes bang.

With over flooded numbers of glock out there, $500 a gen 1 seems to be high but they are very demanded.

Trigun

A gen 1 in VG condition I'd agree. A used gen 1 or 2 with several or even 10s of thousands of rounds shot not so much.

It seems used Glocks seem to fetch a higher price than new ones...

That's just the EE. Where everything old is new and everything priced fairly is gone in minutes.

Ive owned a Gen 1 and Gen 2 G17, a Gen 2 G22, and a Gen 2 G20. Currently have a Gen 3 G17 and a Gen 2.5 G21.

All of them were great and I really wish I kept the previous 2 gens of G17.

I love that quote. Every gun has had just a couple hundred rounds down the pipe.

I for one have not fired more than 800 rounds through any one handgun. Many of my previous firearms had an average of 300 rounds put through them.

This is why most of the time I can believe the low round counts that people advertise. Unless the gun is majorly scratched up and beaten up, you can usually tell when a gun has been used a lot.

Obsolete my heine!

I recently got a smokin' deal on an exc shape 2nd gen G22 off the EE.

I bet it will go thousands of rounds & likely outlast me.

You need to go shooting more often. I probably have 1000+ rounds through my 22/45 and at least 1000 though two different 9mm's just in the last few months and I don't think I shoot that much. Some of the guys at the range put out a lot more lead than I do.
