Hey,
I have an old Webley Hurricane that I 'inherited' years ago. It seems to to be fairly old, with a blued steel barrel and the white lettering is basically rubbed off. It cycles well and certainly has good compression. I'm not sure, but there may been a front sight hood, too?
The biggest thing that has kept me from shooting this pistol is that it is missing the rear sight. I have shot it, just to see if it works, but hitting anything is obviously ridiculous.
It is stamped "177 -4.5 cal" and the underside says "Webley & Scott Ltd, Made in England" with a pentagon stamped below with an F in the middle.
If anyone out there has any info on this discontinued pistol, please drop me a reply. I figure I'll either try to track down a sight for it, if anyone has a suggestion where I can find one, or I will put it up on the EE. If I end up selling it, what is a fair price for this for both the buyer and seller?
Thanks!!
