How accurate are the 3" 629s ?
Reason I ask is because I had a couple of the 3" Lew Horton 44 Spls. and after 25 yds. a barn door was quite safe.
On the other hand a 629 4" was amazingly accurate as far as 100 yds., much more so than a 6.5" Mod. 29 I had at the same time....

4' of holdover gets you way past 300yards

I was knocking down steel plates out to 100y+ first time out with a 3" 44mag. I do miss that pistol Might have to get this one just for the good memories Yes I do have the 12.6
