"one holer" rifle

A one holer is right up there with tack driver or shoots out lights. Many people use those silly expressions, but how many have actually done those things with a gun?

Actually when target shooting with my .17hmr when i get done with the target the last 4 shots are usually to disentegrate the tacks holding the target on the board (50 yds):D

Whoops! Sorry that file is so big, and I have no idea how to make it smaller....

Note the Dutch Door, so if you'd like to take in the view whilst seated you can open the top half of the door. Serious engineering work went into this one-holer.

I'll say! That's quite the base on that puppy. Who's ass is it intended to hold up?;)

By the third day of the hunt, the rule for the one holer is "NO NOVELS". Next fella might be in a bit of a rush... :)

You definitely need a two-holer in that case.

It has been my experience that people take LESS time when they visit a two-holer, as most do not welcome company whilst in the privy. Unsociable lot of misanthropes, I think, but that's THEIR problem.

I am just waiting for the "Deer Gymnastics" and "Thorny Beard" threads now, thank God you are slowing down on the hunting, it was getting a little slow here Doug.

Hi buddy, good chatting with you a bit ago. I now have my pants on, you will be glad to hear. And I have got most of the thorns and burrs out of my beard but I may have to cut the last three or four inches off to get all of them. :(

Deer season is still on till the 31st! :D

one holer

Ain't that the truth. I was wondering why you don't post much anymore Doug. Same reason as me apparently, too many experts...

One holer would put me right off... same as minty... same as shotty...
We respect that there are new colloquialisms emerging regularly... but earning the integrity of a description of a firearm....hmmm...

I have a couple of my rifles that tear ragged holes (and one of them is a Sako, by the way) Sending a copy of the target calling it sub MOA would be appropriate... anything else is misrepresentation of an item for sale...
Interesting re "experts".. I teach large classes and have given expert evidence in court... Some of the "experts" deem themselves so by the number of postings they place on forums... just indicates a lot of time at the keyboard.... one old guys opinion..
