Rodger & Spencer I picked up out of the States many moons ago. I definitely got a thing for percussion revolvers. Really haven't seen one I didn't lust for. LOL!
I have one but not even close to the superb condition as yours friend. Added plus it appears to have possibly mammoth ivory grips. If that's true those things have been in the ground for about 10,000 years.
Many don't know this is perhaps the most reliable antique cap and ball revolver of that era. I have never even once experienced a cap jam with my R&S when I did shoot it.
Very nice iron right there.
It was advertised as walrus if I remember right. But I am no expert in ivory. I have never done the pin trick to the inside of the grip & just plan to leave them alone. They have been on the revolver a long time. Managed to find wood grips from S&S out of N.Y. but decided not to mess with it.

Here's one of mine... Albeit never saw the civil war.

My moustache stood straight out when I saw your revolver. Wish it were mine.
This might help ID your ivory grips.
