Only One Handgun

Have you ever owned a CZ Shadow SP-01? Aside from the slide, grips, hammer is there any difference between it and the Shadowline?

I've essentially played this game for real. Bought and sold probably 30 - 40 handguns over the years. I've decided to stick with the CZ-75. I prefer the combat model to the SP01 (full length dust cover) style. But that is just my preference. I was lucky enough to get a Shadowline in the combat style recently, I will be keeping this pistol as my one. All others are gone... well other than my Bersa 380 in case SHTF for CCW.

If you could only have one handgun for everything that you use a handgun for, which one would it be? (No sci-fi stuff lol)

My stainless steal Taurus 24/7 Pro in .40 = very accurate, compact, ergonomic (fits me well). 2 alternatives: Sig226, S&W MP

Why .40 you may ask? With mag limit at 10, all advantages of high cap 9mm guns are lost. .45 is either too bulky or mag capacity under 10. So, .40 turned to be a good middle ground = more punch and bigger hole (counts in IPSC) then 9mm, not far away from .45

A revolver: would be a S&W 686 in .357 mag. Reliability, accurate and able to load light (.38spl).
Pistol 10mm doublestack like the XDM or glock 20 Lots of stopping power but not too much recoil

Ahh #### I laughed way too hard at that. Well played

I’d go old school; in looks anyway. Pietta Thunderer, .357 mag. 5.5in. Barrel, birds head grips. Quirky/odd looking with the birds heads, but fit & finish are spectacular. They & Uberti do their bluing and colour case hardening together, and it’s some of the best in the business. Most of all, the gun is a shooter. Out to 50 yds, it shoots as tight as my CZ race gun worth 5X as much. .357 because, it’s the best caliber there is
