Only One Handgun

Tough question...really tough...
Love my Ruger Mk II Government...hard to go wrong with a great 22LR!
Love my Ruger New Model Blackhawks in 41 Rem Mag!
Love my CZ SP-01 Tactical in 40S&W!
Now have a Kimber Eclipse Custom II in 10MM and can't wait to gain more experience with it...

But just one?
Would most likely be the NM Blackhawk in stainless 41 Rem Mag w/ 4 5/8" barrel!
Love how it shoots with the Winchester Platinum Tip 240 gr ammo!

I bought a Sig P226 22lr then I picked up a 40SW upper for it so I can shoot 22lr and 40SW then I learned with just a barrel I could shoot 357sig from the 40SW so I can now shoot 22lr 40SW 357sig then Nordic Marksman had those surplus German parts kit with no frame so I picked up one of those then took the 9mm upper and sold the rest of the parts and now my Sig P226 can shoot 22lr 40SW 357sig and 9mm :)

That is very cool!

One, Gee, If it is a carry gun, than the P7M13 in pancake holster, .
My most shoot would be my model 19 smith, or colt 357 in 4 inch.
1911 in 45 would be close, or the Jericho 9mm.
Ammo a consideration? than a 22 steel semi auto, with a bunch of mags.

Unless you are playing cops and robbers in Toronto area, you can only use the gun to punch expensive holes in paper. I have some nice iconic revolvers and pistols but the top one would be my Smith and Wesson Model 41 22 LR. Bought it new 3 years ago and with more than 6,000 rounds it just keeps chugging along and shoots way more accurate than me. Cheap to shoot and fun. In emergency, still a very nasty little round that can shoot small game.

For center fire, an 8- shot SW or Ruger 357. Have one of each and these just never get old.

While tempted to say G17 / P320, really being limited to one chunk means versatility. A 10mm Glock or Sig if wanting a semi-auto. Better versatility means wheel gun, period. So, probably the most versatile loading's gotta be the .357 really. Put that round in a 4" 8-shot N-frame & it will be up for the broadest set of challenges. If choosing only one outta my handguns, then it will bemy 4" Model 19 Smith.

Yup, I'm good with that.

HK P7. Unique. Collectible. Perfect CCW. And Hans Gruber had one.

One gun , heavens forbid, But for carry, can't go wrong with that, But for everyday shooting, I used 357m revolver, or a 1911. S-W 4 in model 19 is what I shoot the most, even more than the HK I see John know what is what ,LOL.

If I had to have only one handgun, that would mean :

1) I would shoot it a lot, having only one.
2) My children and wife would shoot it also.
3) Since I would shoot it a lot, cost of ammo (I don't reload) would be an issue.

My choice would be obvious : a revolver/pistol in 22 LR.

My Ruger Single Ten will do the job.
