Ontario Deer hunters

65 Here as well, only time I see daytime deer is when I'm in my car going to work ...................... other then that my trail camera's show them coming in at 7pm and 2am. Guess its a waiting game either way hope the weather gets colder and I get some time of work

I'm back after a week at our cabin and nothing to brag about this year. I let this young spike walk hopefully to live another year.

Didn't see much at all to be honest... Maybe this is why... They've gone nocturnal. These trail cam pictures were from a farm property an hour east of us.

22 degrees today, sweating my nuts off in the tree stand.

Have some big bucks on the trail cams but no luck thus far.

It was brutally hot today. Ended up stripping down to my base layer on the top and took my long johns off when I did a push around a dry marsh. Should be the same tomorrow, so I think I'll skip the underarmor and deal with being a little chilly in the morning.

ya i hear what your saying by the time i get up in my stand I'm sweating and taking layers off, 90a and have not seen any deer yet fingers crossed for tomorrow

66A just a hoodie on today was hot for sure. saw nothing since sunday when I was out with the bow and two does came out, no doe tag :( previous weekend I saw a 8 pointer as I opened the blind and put the bow on the ground. half out of the blind before i saw him and he took off. if i had only wait the extra 10mins I may of had him but i was cold and hungry. not doing that again.

*dusts off his hands* and im done. 20c in the sun today long shirt and my blaze vest and i have sweat dripping down my face sitting in the tree. Late season hunt for me next year. A little dissapointed this year i must say.

Going to 62 on Friday. Looks like we'll miss the tropics this year. Weather looking to cool off next week for which we will be thankful. Maybe those resting deer will get up and start moving when the chill comes in. Good luck to all.

3 bucks and 1 doe for us so far in 58

This morning @ 7:15 AM. I shot a big bodied 6 point buck in the Shotgun Hunt , just west of the GTA.
Used a Rem. Wing Master with a Hastings rifled barrel , topped with a Red Dot scope .
I shoot the standard Foster 1 oz. slug . I get a 3-4" group @ 100 yds. Don't need expensive sabots .
The buck was hit @ 25 yds. ( easy shot) but went 125 yds. before hitting the ground.
Slug went right through the chest taking out both lungs. Back latter today for buddy's tag to get filled.

Good luck on your deer hunts. ,,,,,,,,,,,, Frank

We have 6 down in 92D, finding all sorts of scrapes and rubs in the bush. Bucks are running around scenting does all over. Saw a buck chasing a doe yesterday as well.

this is the one I'm after iv seen him a few times before but never when the season is on now the problem is he only comes at night (time is wrong on the cam)
