I tried to renew my I also had a problem because I'm over 65 and do not need a fishing licence BUT it would not let me renew with getting it. Nice job on the web page NOT!
With or without getting it?

Still hard to swallow that they outsourced our licensing to the US.
I work with the Crown and the contract winner is the lowest bidder that meets the criteria set out in the request for proposal. If a Canadian company could have done it for a lower price while meeting the criteria then it would have stayed in Canada.
Still doesn't feel right that the government is that quick to outsource. Hope it was a substantial savings vs creating/keeping jobs here.
I don't think the new ones have a T as well he rules changed after your renewal...... I have my new one on the way and will post when it arrives
LOL, the only reason I was at the computer this morning is due to the major blast of winter weather here. It was -24C this morning with 2 feet of mostly fresh snow n the ground. If it wasn't for that I'd have been out hunting; today is the last day here for archery deer and partridge. I did dig out my snowshoes last night but couldn't see myself busting new trails wearing and carrying all my hunting gear only to freeze, especially since I am hurting all over from the shoveling. Maybe I'll go out back with my bow for a couple of hours this afternoon but otherwise my hunting season ends, not with a bang but with a whimper.Nice... but with that much free time, go to the range...![]()

I don't know where you are at, but drive down south of the Severn and extend that season to the end of the year...
I have done that in the past but discovered this spring while planning a turkey hunt that you have to be an OFAH member to hunt the Simcoe County Forests and some of their tracts are the only spots I know that would be close enough to be worthwhile. I let my OFAH membership lapse years ago after it seemed to me they spent all the money on a pricey new HQ, started sending me crappy unsolicited gifts and junk mail to ask for donations, and were ineffective lobbying to prevent the long gun registry. I was thinking about joining again just to hunt in SCF tracts but didn't get around to it yet.
If you do it by phone, I think you can get the membership sans magazine for less. I have an OFAH membership for the reasons you state. I live in Orillia so most of the tracts are close enough. I hunt turkeys in Oro-Medonte on private land abutting 200 acres of Simcoe County Forest but I used hunt them on county land. I hunt county land and crown land in the county for deer, small game and waterfowl so I still keep the OFAH membership. Another bonus is the insurance which is something the landowner appreciates.
Simcoe County has a map of all crown and county land on their website...

I may have sat on some of the same stumps as you...
Sault Ste. Marie perchance? They got a good winter thrashing... and the North side bird season date is right... we just caught the edge of the same storm.
