Ontario Test Return times?

Send in your PAL without test results if you have not already. I did this and got the letter today (3 weeks later) saying to include the test results before Jan 31, 2011, so tonnes of time. This method is perfectly acceptable.

Yes Onterrible is the worst. The results should only take 2 weeks but "Its hunting season" which is true, so allow 6 weeks.

today - 24 sep (application received and online) = 47 days
today - 03 oct (exams passed) = 38 days

I just emailed them again, telling them I'm worried that my papers
may have been misplaced. They did say 4-5 weeks and we're on
the 2nd day of week 6

Let's see who gets their papers first....../
And it wouldn't surprise me IF I get my CRFSC first and the CFC would refuse to do anything until I receive and send my CFSC (without passing which I would NOT have received a CRFSC.....):cheers:

I would expect that pistolwhiptricks, you and I should be receiving a nice
envelope in the mailbox this week.

P.S. I'm wondering if the self-addressed envelopes that we provided during the course would have been mailed back to us faster had they also been prepaid by us and stamped....
 
OK, I am officially on the clock. Tests taken Nov. 14.

FWIW, my instructor is totally frustrated with the delays in getting the results back as he trains a lot of folks who need it for employment. He was meeting with them in Orillia this week but wasn't holding his breath that they would do anything about it.

My exams were on the 2nd and 3rd.
CFO advised me today that my papers mailed on Friday the 12th.

Hopefully to be received in less time than it takes a mailman to load his/her sack in Vancouver and walk to Ottawa.

Assuming all 02/03 October processed as a batch (more or less) we're all there or pretty darn near receiving our stamped results.

Did any of the Class of 02/03Oct, graduate from the Ottawa RA Centre (with either Stuart or Graeme Nesbitt or Kim Hunter)?
 
I found a better solution than calling in and bugging them about my results. I just got my buddy to register my firearm for me. Legally I wont own anything, but inr eality it's the same thing, just cannot buy ammo/range membership, allthough I might be wrong on the membership.

I dont really see a point to doing that. Its pretty much just another one of yoru pals guns untill you get your license; you cant take it out with out him etc.

I just want a damn shotgun so I can go duck hunting before seasons over.

Thanks for the info on the Oct 2/3 tests. I might actually get it this week then.
