ontario transfer time

I initiated a transfer to Alberta on Tuesday at 4pm. It was approved by 2pm the next day. So it took 5 business hours for them to approve assuming they took a 1 hour lunch. Ontario sucks.

Unfortunately Im the one that lives in Ontario. The buyer lives in Alberta. I wish I lived there to.

I bought my second gun on Gunnutz from a wonderful fellow here and then later in the day decided because of the proposed ban, I would buy a single action revolver from a wonderful store in London. Both were on the Victoria Day holiday (May 20th). I called the RCMP on Thursday, May 30th and asked about the one I'd purchased here and also mentioned I had also bought one from a store. The lovely lady check on it as well and said both had been approved that day. So from start to finish, 10 days including the weekend. I live in Ontario. Hope that helps.

Just completed two transfers. ON to AB, and AB to SK. About 9 days and 7 days.

Maybe take the average and expect around that? haha. Hopefully that helps.

I initiated transfer in Alberta for a pistol at 13:00 on Monday and the buyer called at 09:00 on Tuesday. Transfer complete at 09:00 Wednesday. The very nice lady the buyer talked to suggested that he request from her that all communication be done through email. She actually made him ask her. No delays or questions on this one.

Waiting close to two weeks for a transfer from Manitoba to Ontario. Started the process June 3
Might be processed Monday June 17.
Hope to get it before my birthday in 2021 !!!!!
