Ontario Transfer Wait Times?

I ordered a Bushmaster QRC November 02 2017 and Cabela's started the transfer November 8th 2017. I also called and inquired about the status of my transfer I think that helped speed up my transfer. So in total it took 2 weeks and 2 days.
 
I recommend calling them. I called this morning and they said it would be approved today when I mentioned that I've been waiting since Nov 8th. It sucks that you have to jump the line but i want my rifle before Xmas. Good luck!

UPDATE: Today is business day #21 and still nothing. Will be a full calendar month on Thursday (Nov 30).
I did, however, receive a new PAL card in the mail on Friday. No idea why as my expiration date is in 2020 and the new card is sporting the same expiry date as my current one. I notice the enclosed letter also contains a lot of special conditions regarding transporting restricted & prohibited firearms...can't remember if my last card arrived with similar info or not. Is this a good sign?

Does ur pal number end in 0002? Or did you just make ur first restricted purchase ?
 
FYI

Just got off the phone with RCMP for private transfer within Ontario. Initiated Oct 31, approved yesterday.

Still waiting on another done a day or two after that one (handgun, private Ontario->Ontario)
 
Purchased my first 9mm on Friday afternoon, received my transfer approval by email the following Wednesday (today).

3 business days.

I'm in Qc.

A buddy received his first in less than 48hrs.

So..... start a thread called "Quebec Transfer Wait Times", 'cause this one is called "ONTARIO Transfer Wait Times".
 
I have had two restricted transferred this month.
The first one took 22 calendar days (also asked them to send the transfer via the email!)
The second one took full 24 days!!! I only received it today. The seller was joking if my transfers always take this long...!

UPDATE #2: Called the CFO again this morning, got told my transfer was actually approved this morning. They emailed me confirmation as well. So, that's 6 weeks from initiation (Oct 30) to completion (Dec 11).

Similar result here. And physical letters are taking longer to print/mail on top of this. RCMP said letters were sent Nov 27 and I haven't received a physical copy yet, just the electronic e-mail.
