mosquitos out driving us crazy. Got 14 Ducks with a mix of woodies, mallards and teals at Galway-Cavendish near Bobcaygeon for 3 guys. Can't wait for the colder weather when the bugs die out. Half the time spent trying to swat the bugs
Not a problem ,I actually am starting to enjoy video taping when you can get the people to co-operate .In the first video you can hear the owner of the dog calling him but the previous retrieval I had praised the pup so he was coming to me for more praise much to the delight of the owner .The pup is a little over a year old and is a better retriever than other grand champions we have had out with us .
I got my first ducks ever today(sunday). A hen mallard and a hen teal. Then teal was my finest bit of wing shooting to date. Bang.....Splash!Had a great day. Also my hunting partner shot an eclipse drake which was interesting to see.
Didn't get out opening day because of work but I did go Mon. for an evening hunt. Litterly hundreds of birds coming in but most just out of range. I came away with 2 drakes and a hen. Note to self: After skeet shooting at the club during the summer remember to check your choke before hunting
