Some of you know that I seem to have a little knowledge of the M14 rifle
........ today I finally got my hands on the JAE 100 stock that has had so much press south of the 49th.
Off the top I'd have to give it a 2 thumbs up, nice finish......very solid.
No bedding here, unlike the McMillan M2A located beside the JAE in the picture....this is a $$$ savings right there unless you do a decent job yourself.
The way that the reciever is locked into the stock is A-1....there won't be any movement there. I had a chance to fondle this one.......as it arrived, none of the extra spacers were used, being 6'2" plus.....I've got some large hands.....I'd add in a couple of the hand grip spacers, they were in included.
The rifle was located in the middle of Vancouver....so needless to say I didn't get to fire it, but I did line up a few things in the scope and the ergonomics are AAAA+++++. I can't wait to put a few rounds down this thing.
Here are a few pics for you guys.
IMHO This is an instant hit!
I hope to get you review shortly.
