When I first got my RPAL, I wanted a Colt SAA. My first gun was the Uberti Elpatron and it was all that I expected. But I knew that ,what I really wanted was the real deal. I recently sold the El Patron and took a beautiful Cimmeron Evil Roy , on trade. The Cimeron was unfired, but I knew I had to have the Colt.
Anyway, today an opportunity arose for me to aquire a Gen 3 Colt SAA .45 LC. ( thanks to a great CGN,er).
But I had to sell a couple of handguns to do it.
I'm now super freaking pumped
.
So tell me, what will I find different about the Colt? What's better? What's not?
I really don't care as I now have a Colt. But I'm still curious to know.
Next on my list is an antique Colt SAA .44-40
