My 11" 858 is enroute from Frontier Firearms. I was thinking about replacing the OEM folder with the ACE folder and mounting it straight in-line rather than on an angle like the factory stock. Anyone do this? Does the stock hold up with the added recoil?

F ya! Give her!

VZ Project "Guinness" (aka Black & Tan). Finished with Coyote Brown.

We wanted something practical yet high contrast to showcase our VZ products on the webstore in pictures and media. It really changes the look of the VZ and adds to the Modernization Upgrades we offer. All that's left is to bead blast the brake and paint it.

Thanks to Arma Coat for the great product. I've done 2 rifles now (Swiss Classic "Tan"), and aside from the prep work it's a breeze to do. We sandblasted everything and having the equipment in house makes it a snap, but most people may not have the ability to blast at home.

I'm always surprised at how much more I can like this platform with every modification.

Anyone know what type of pistol grip is on that tan one?

AK SAW grip.

Looks good. And if you have big wookie hands it also feels great. Mounted both on a CSA Carbine I did up a lot like Dave's excellent Tan Cz.

Cleaning mine with a few of its safe mates in this picture taken this past Canada Day.

I love my 7.5" AKFX stock. Ultra stable. Added a Stormwerkz folding mech. to mine. Will never go back to the factory junk skele stock.

the ACE stock will probally make using your sights unbearable and making a cowitness RDS unusable, i like NEITs tan setup with the aimpoint...

Using sights is very comfortable with a solid cheek weld. This will boil down to preference of course. I disliked that I was always forced either to use a chin weld with my Sig rifles, or purchase a stock cheek riser.

To be clear though, if you use a stormwerkz adapter to mount this stock there are three screw mounting positions and each has some adjustability. This translates to an adjustable comb height.

Cowitness with a factory mount T1 micro on front rail is lower third.

So bad ass that it doesn't even look like human technology. NEIT/NEA: thanks for all the work building modernization parts for this rifle series.

These could have been milled from unobtanium by an alien civilization. If I visited their booth at a trade show and they pulled back a curtain and revealed the alien disk from Roswell, I'd probably f**king shrug and give a redundant "that figures"

I soooooo like the look of the ACE stocks!!!

Can't wait to get one and install it on my carbine.

Could some one post a pic of one with the stock folded?

I'm interested to see how / if it interferes with the grip or access to the mag when wrapping the LH thumb around the mag on removal / insertion.

Regards,

I had ACE stock on mine, but later switched to Magpul collapsible stock and like it better. With ACE I could only use either iron sights or my Leupold scout scope. I had to change the height of the adapter to switch from irons to scope. With Magpul it is much easier. Without cheek piece I can use irons. If I want to put a scope on I just attach cheek piece to the stock. Much faster than unscrewing adapter every time. Of course, one might say that I could have used cheek piece for ACE stock, but I just could not find one. And Magpul is way cheaper.
